A topic to share what you think is (or totally is not) support worthy on the LEGO IDEAS platform. Why not?!

The Ship by J_Parry

Post by JackBrick »

I saw this one today: a modular building called "The Ship", as it is a bar that is called The Ship. (click on image to see the project on LEGO IDEAS website)

Image

Lovely build! I like both the corner build and that the top level differs highly from the bottom level. It gives the build a more horizontal orientated look and feel, where most modulars are vertical orientated. Als the brickbuild logo is an impressive one. I was part of a discussion on Twitter when the maker / designer Jon Parry (Twitter account) was busy trialing and erroring through it, it was a really interactive process  and as a person he makes a fun and relaxed impression. I chose to support him!

This is one I usually don't support (computer generated instead of brick built) but I like the look of it

3 Generations of happiness modular

I really love the architecture of this one. The inside leans heavily on set 80101 so that will change for sure if this gets the needed support

I think I will support both of those! Even though I don't see this properly fitting I think both models are worth it!

So something else, for everyone who is into a tiny bit of metal once in a while, I just found out that there is a Tool tribute IDEAS project: click

More band stuff at the website from the creator: click

I like the idea, I must say it is quite easy when you habe designed the stage base to just fill it with different bands.

3 Ideas from 1 creator, all of them appear very British to me.

Notting Hill is my clear favourite. Really captures the Portobello Road atmosphere (at least pre-covid).

Although I don't really care about football, I love the historic look of this one:

@JackBrick you're letting us down bro, I have 3 in a row despite long breaks.

Venice... Many people will have a romantic view of this island with the San Marco Square and it's pigeons, the old palaces, the countless bridges like Ponte dei Sospiri and Rialto and the gondolas in the small waterways.

Having worked in nearby Cavallino-Treporti it more or less has become an overrun tourist trap to me, but still, because of that period it remained a special place for me as a symbol.

So when I came across little Venice I had to share. And while you check out the link for pictures, don't forget to hit the support button.

This definately got my support! Yeah I know, I am pretty caught in the home renovation at the moment... Shamefull... Won't fall back into a dark age though, just laying low on the afol part of life because the sustainable part of life asks for more attention.
