October = Halloween month at Brickstow.com!

Post by JackBrick »

Yes yes it is! Halloween is comin' and offcourse I must first admit that it would totally crossed me if it wasn't for @Bricksterdam , our global moderator here who is TOTALLY into the creapy and the scary!

So next to LEGO releasing the 40423 Hayride set..

Image

.. I myself got inspired by the theme and the current minifigures which you can get at the LEFO stores all over the globe I guess! And while being inspired I made this video today.

So, here we go! Let us dress up our community Halloween style! Share your themed mocs and mods here in this topic or throw up a new topic in the designated areas around the community boards!

Are you a Halloweener? Or is it not your holiday? Did you get the Hayride set, or did you skip it?

Like you said, I'm very much into it and I don't really know why. Other than loving all the special sets and pieces LEGO has designed for this holiday. Maybe it's a bit more Rock & Roll compared to Christmas? Maybe because I read books about werewolves and vampires as a kid?

Anyway, every year I spend some time building pumpkin spiced scenes. I also stick to just LEGO for my Halloween celebrations btw. I got both the sets that were released this year, the bat and pumpkin were fun as well.

So stay tuned there will be more to follow...

While Halloween as a holiday is not my cup of tea at all, I will see what I can do to halloweenify Noppztehude Zero for a few weeks. The horror, the horror!

@Klemmbaustelle maybe an Oktoberfest build can be nice? Just as suitable for this month as Halloween .

Curious what you will come up with. Plenty of ways to have a Halloween influence without including the horror elements

Oh, I'm not against horror - I am just not a big fan of Halloween. ;-)
Anyway, there is an idea emerging...
